罗茨风机通过两个或三个叶形转子(通常为三叶或两叶)在气缸内作反向等速旋转实现气体输送。
The Roots blower achieves gas delivery by rotating two or three blade rotors (usually three or two blades) in opposite directions at a constant speed inside the cylinder.
气体吸入:转子旋转时,与机壳、转子与转子之间形成封闭容积。当容积扩大至进气口时,气体被吸入。
Gas inhalation: When the rotor rotates, it forms a closed volume with the casing and between rotors. When the volume expands to the inlet, gas is drawn in.
气体压缩与排出:随着转子继续旋转,封闭容积逐渐缩小,气体被压缩并推送至排气口。由于转子连续旋转,气体实现连续吸入和排出。恒流量特性:罗茨风机无内压缩过程,气体压力依赖排气侧阻力形成,因此流量基本恒定,受压力波动影响小。
Gas compression and discharge: As the rotor continues to rotate, the enclosed volume gradually decreases, and the gas is compressed and pushed to the exhaust port. Due to the continuous rotation of the rotor, gas is continuously sucked in and discharged. Constant flow characteristic: Roots blower has no internal compression process, and the gas pressure depends on the exhaust side resistance, so the flow rate is basically constant and less affected by pressure fluctuations.

五、主要缺点噪音和振动较大:由于转子周期性啮合排气以及气体脉动,会产生较大的噪音和振动。通常需要配备消音器、隔音罩或安装在独立机房内。

Relatively low efficiency: Due to the constant volume compression process without internal compression and the presence of gap leakage, its efficiency is usually lower than that of centrifugal fans (in the high-efficiency zone) and screw compressors. 温升较高:压缩过程中产生的热量(主要是克服阻力和泄漏涡流损失)会使气体温度显著升高。有时需要配置冷却器(风冷或水冷)。
High temperature rise: The heat generated during the compression process (mainly to overcome resistance and leakage vortex losses) will significantly increase the gas temperature. Sometimes it is necessary to configure a cooler (air-cooled or water-cooled).
对过载敏感:出口管路堵塞或压力异常升高会导致电机过载,必须安装安全阀(泄压阀)保护风机和电机。
Sensitive to overload: Blockage or abnormal pressure rise in the outlet pipeline can cause motor overload, and safety valves (pressure relief valves) must be installed to protect the fan and motor.
制造精度要求高:为保证小间隙运行而不发生碰撞,转子型线加工精度和同步齿轮的精度要求非常高。
High manufacturing accuracy requirements: In order to ensure small clearance operation without collision, the precision requirements for rotor profile machining and synchronous gear are very high.
单级压力有限:单级罗茨风机的压比(出口绝对压力/入口绝对压力)通常不超过1.8,更高压力需要多级串联或选用其他类型压缩机(如螺杆机)。
